Jacko Lau, a native of Hong Kong, is a classically trained pianist with 17 years of performance experience. He is currently pursuing his second year Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
Lau made his concerto debut at the age of 10, performing Mozart with the CHK Young Symphony at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre. Since then, he has given solo recitals both in Hong Kong and abroad, showcasing a wide-ranging repertoire that reflects his musical depth and maturity.
Over the years, Lau has achieved numerous awards in local competitions, including prizes at the Hong Kong Golden Bauhinia Piano Competition, the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, the Hong Kong Youth Piano Competition, and the Steinway International Youth Piano Competition.
Now, he is committed to engaging audiences through meaningful performances and shaping his identity as a thoughtful, expressive artist of his generationally.
