Piano Professor

BingBing Li, a leading Chinese pianist whose artistry has graced the world’s finest stages. She’s renowned as a soloist, chamber musician, and has left an indelible mark as a recording artist with Naxos.

Her performances are celebrated for their imaginative brilliance, earning acclaim like “Vigour and authority” from the London Times. A child prodigy, BingBing began her journey with numerous recitals and major prize wins. At just 10, she recorded under China Universal Music before pursuing her studies at the Central Conservatory of Music. Four years later, she received a full scholarship to the prestigious Purcell School of Music in the UK.


Upon moving to the UK, her debut at iconic venues like the Wigmore Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall marked the start of her international ascent. She graced major music festivals worldwide, including Santander, Messiaen, and Norfolk. BingBing captivated audiences in conservatories and concert halls across the US and Europe, both as a soloist and alongside orchestras.


Her accomplishments include appointment of Associated Royal Academy of Music (ARAM) and winning several awards, along with full scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. She’s garnered numerous prizes in college and international piano competitions, culminating in the prestigious DipRAM from the Academy.


As an educator, BingBing shares her expertise as a piano professor at esteemed institutions, beginning with the Royal Academy of Music and later joining the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. She’s also been appointed at Chetham’s School of Music and the Royal Northern College of Music.


BingBing’s passion for music extends beyond performances and teaching. She embarks on concert tours and regularly adjudicates international piano competitions. Moreover, she generously imparts her knowledge through masterclasses at China’s foremost music conservatories, nurturing the talents of future generations.
