Anna McCargow
Anna McCargow is a British pianist.
She started studying piano at the age of five.
From 2012 till 2019 Anna regularly attended master classes at the Mozarteum Summer Academy, Salzburg. Since 2016 Anna has been studying at the Talent Music Master Courses, University of Music in Brescia, Italy, with Professor Andreas Frölich.
Since 2018 Anna McCargow regularly performs with orchestras in Italy during summer festivals. She played with such conductors as Uri Segal, Sergio Baietta, and Raffaele Napoli. Her active repertoire includes piano concertos by Mozart, Beethoven, Grieg und Schumann.
In July 2021 she entered Hochschule für Musik und Tanz, Cologne, class of Prof. Andreas Frölich. In 2021 and 2022 Anna took an active part in The International Chamber Music Festival Musica Mundi, Belgium.
From January, 2023 Anna McCargow is a musician of Live Music Now Köln e.V Project of The International Yehudi Menuhin Foundation (https://livemusicnow-koeln.de/musiker).
She is a winner of several International piano competitions: Val Tidone, Italy, 2016, 1st Prize; Leganes, Spain, 2018, 2nd Prize; International Piano Festival, Malaga, Spain, 2019, July – 1st Prize; Cesar Franck International Piano Competition, Brussels, Belgium, December, 2020 – 3rd Prize.
The last ones were Brigitte-Kempen-Competition, November, 2023, Aachen, Germany, 2nd Prize and
International piano competition «Music of the World», November, 2023, Astana, Kazakhstan, 1st.Prize und Grand Prix in the Professional Category
