Yuqian Wu
Wu Yuqian, aged 12, embarked on his musical journey at the age of 4 and a half under the tutelage of his mother. At the age of 8, he began studying piano with Dr. Du Minshan at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music, where he continues his musical education to this day.
His journey has been marked by numerous accolades, including:
First Runner-Up in the Children's Group A category at the final of the 5th Macau Asia-Pacific Youth Piano Competition in 2017.
First Prize in the Children's Group A category at the National Final of the 7th Eomile International Piano Competition in 2021.
Second Prize in the Children's Group B category at the final of the 3rd Guangdong Piano Association Cup in 2021.
Gold Award in the Children's Group B category at the final of the Children's Piano Competition hosted by Zhuhai TV in 2021.
First Place in the Children's Group B category at the South China Regional Competition of the 3rd Yamaha Piano Competition in 2022.
Second Prize in the Children's Group B category at the National Final of the 3rd Yamaha Piano Competition in 2022.
