Naixin Li
Naixin is an exceptionally talented young pianist hailing from China. Under the guidance of Professor Hilary Coates, she is currently pursuing a Master's degree in piano performance at London's Trinity Laban Conservatoire and is set to enroll in the Artist Diploma program in 2024. Her musical journey has been enriched by studying under the tutelage of esteemed professors such as Matthias Trachsel and Gereon Kleiner at the Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien.
Born in Xiamen, Naixin embarked on her piano odyssey at the tender age of three. She honed her skills at the Xiamen Music School and the Gulangyu Piano School of the Central Conservatory of Music. Naixin's remarkable talent has garnered her numerous accolades, including the Silver Prize in the Junior Group of the Helen Cup Shanghai International Youth Piano Competition Grand Final, the Gold Prize in the Chinese Composition Group, and the First Prize in the Youth Group of the Steinway National Youth Piano Competition Provincial Competition. She also clinched the top spot in the concerto division of the Asian Piano Competition in Hong Kong.
Naixin's musical prowess has graced prestigious venues worldwide, including the Vienna Ehrbar Saal, Shenzhen Concert Hall, Shenzhen Nanshan Cultural Centre, Gulangyu Concert Hall, Xiamen Wuyuanwan Concert Hall, the Bakehouse Theatre, and St. Paul's Church Covent Garden in London.
In 2023, Naixin showcased her artistry on the international stage, performing a captivating concerto concert with conductor Anar Bramo and the Euregio Orchestra in Aachen, Germany. That same year, she triumphed at the Music Festival in Brescia, Italy, winning the concerto competition and earning the esteemed opportunity to perform Grieg's Piano Concerto in A Minor under the baton of conductor Sergio Baietta and alongside the orchestra in Brescia, Italy. Naixin's musical journey continues to inspire and enchant audiences worldwide with her extraordinary talent and dedication to the craft of piano performance.
