Celebrating the 2026 LOML International Piano Competition & Festival
From the focus of the competition stage to the exchange of ideas in masterclasses, the 2026 LOML International Piano Competition & Festival brought together learning, performance and a shared love of music.
For London Overseas Musicians’ League, these experiences lie at the heart of our work: creating opportunities for musicians to develop their artistry, connect with others and share what they have prepared with an audience.
The photographs from 2026 capture different parts of that journey—pianists in performance, teachers and students working together, and musicians gathering to celebrate their achievements. They offer a chance to revisit the music-making and the people who made it possible.
Learning Through Music
Alongside the competition, the festival offered space for musical exploration through masterclasses and shared learning. Time at the piano was an opportunity to consider new ideas, listen closely and reflect on the choices that shape a performance.
The classroom and the concert stage each play a part in a musician’s development. Bringing them together gives learning a practical purpose, while performa
nce opens the door to further discovery.

Thank You to Our Community
To our participants, faculty, jury members, musicians, families and organising team: thank you for your contribution to the 2026 competition and festival. Your preparation, guidance and support helped bring these experiences to life.
As we look back through the performances, masterclasses and award presentations, we celebrate both the achievements on stage and the learning that continues afterwards.
We look forward to the next chapter of LOML, guided by the same belief:
Love of Music for Life.
